Kelly brings a wealth of experience in youth development, community leadership, and organisational management. Over the years she has managed several community programmes and projects, and has also run her own small businesses, giving her a practical, hands-on understanding of what it takes to keep an organisation running smoothly.
As the President and Children's Convenor of the Lake City Athletics Club and a trustee of Westbrook School, Kelly has a proven track record in governance, administration, and supporting the growth and empowerment of tamariki and rangatahi.
With a bachelor's degree in exercise science, majoring in sports psychology, Kelly applies her expertise to help young athletes build confidence, resilience, and achieve their full potential. Through her role with the trust, she also directly supports rangatahi, fostering both their athletic and personal development.
A proud mother of five, Kelly is deeply committed to creating opportunities for youth to thrive. She brings a whānau-first, holistic approach to her work, combining strong organisational skills with a genuine care for people, ensuring that the aspirations and wellbeing of young people remain at the heart of everything she does.
