TE HIKOI A WHIRO
Te Puna Ariki were proud to be the organisers and a key partner for Te Hikoi a Whiro. A community initiative that brought together hundreds of people to raise awareness for rangatahi mental health and suicide. This kaupapa was inspired by the marama of whiro.
Te Kete o Ngā Whetū
At Te Puna Ariki, we hold strongly to the belief that it takes a village to raise our tamariki. None of us grow in isolation, and we are shaped by the whānau, hapū, iwi, and wider communities who nurture, guide, and support us along the way. This Kete is a reflection of that understanding. It reminds us of the collective responsibility we share, while also encouraging us to give back to the very communities that have raised and sustained us.
We are open to collaborating with any whānau, pakihi or community organisation that aligns with our values. Please contact ceo@tepunaariki.com for more information.

TAKOHAMAIRUNGA MEMORIAL GRANT
Takoha was a passionate kaihaka, hunter, fisherman and all round 'cheeky fulla'. He was a staunch advocate for rangatiratanga and mana motuhake, and was a die hard supporter of Te Pāti Māori. This grant is our way of continuing his legacy, honouring his life, and supporting others who walk a similar path.
