Our Add-up Programme supports our rangatahi to realise their potential in hauora and sport.

The Story Behind Add Up Performance

Add Up began around 2010 as a way to support senior touch rugby teams. Over time, it naturally expanded into helping young family members and friends improve their fitness and speed as they chased their sporting dreams.

By 2024, the number of athletes Coach Bomm was training had grown beyond the teams he had coached personally. His mission has always been to provide high-level training for our tamariki—ensuring they have access to top-quality coaching without placing financial strain on struggling whānau.

As we move into 2025, Add Up Performance is growing stronger than ever! The programme is committed to raising the standard of youth athletic development while keeping our training accessible to those who need it most.

Meet the Team

Add-Up is a close-knit and dedicated team of coaches dedicated to the development of our rangatahi.

  • Founder & Head of Add-Up

Kia Ora, I’m Coach Bomm (though when my wife is upset, I also go by Henare Tahuri!). With years of experience as both a player and coach across multiple sports—including Touch Rugby, League, Basketball, and Boxing—I recently added a new focus on strength and speed training to help young athletes excel.

My true passion lies in working with tamariki, guiding them through their youth to unlock their full potential. I believe in developing not just skilled athletes but also coachable, disciplined, and determined young leaders who stand out both on and off the field. If you're looking for a coach who will push, support, and inspire your tamariki to be their best, I’d love to be part of their journey!
